Welcome to JM Pilates!

Here you can take a step into your journey towards wellbeing and a balanced future. We work on improving your balance, movement, mindfulness, strength, posture and resistance.

We meet you wherever you are in your fitness journey and work with you to reach your personal goals ranging from rehabilitation, getting some well deserved β€˜me time’ or even if you are training for an adventure race!

Rehabilitation

By offering different styles of fitness classes we can cater to a range of fitness goals including rehabilitation from injuries, stress, surgeries and life events that affect our whole body. The beauty in having a personal journey plan is we can adapt it to what your body needs at the pace that you are comfortable with.

 

Athletes & Fitness

We can offer more intense programs to help professional, amateur or aspiring athletes perform at their peak and prevent injury. Some of these include increased body awareness, more range of motion in the muscles and joints, improved core strength and better posture in combination with deep breathing.

Horse Riders

As a rider myself I can empathize with how many times a horse might think its funny to kick you off! So I love to work with fellow equestrian lovers to build core strength, confidence in the saddle, increased agility and balance, and to relieve old injuries, getting you back in the saddle (or maybe a more comfy chair if you aren’t riding anymore).

 

Mums & Kids

Feeling tired? Needing a bit of energy, some connection with others and some self care? I offer sessions to help work towards your personal fitness goals.

If finding it hard to find a time without the kids to book, please get in touch as we may be able to accommodate a kid or two into your session.

Mobility & Strength Building

Pilates increases strength and flexibility in both the core and the legs, which positively affects balance. This, along with basic fitness benefits, can help them reduce the risk of falls. By increasing balance, mobility and confidence our fitness regimes can really help build confidence in being independent especially in ones senior years.

 

Mindfulness & Wellbeing

Often life catches up and we suddenly feel like we need a breather, some me time and a space to rejuvenate and energize. I love helping you find what you need to get there and build a program to increase wellbeing, energy and feeling ready to get back into it!
